Mika the Weather Dog

Hi I'm Mika the Weather Dog!  I'm the newest addition to the family here at West Lethbridge Weather! It's been a lot of fun learning about weather and how it works.  They have even taken me out chasing lightning storms!  (I prefer to be Inside the vehicle watching instead of outside while they take pictures!)

Westside Dog Run?  Oh it sure would be nice to have another alternative for west side doggies and our owners to walk, run and play that is NOT hazardous to our health!.  The existing dog run at Popson Park is home to the endangered rattlsnakes.  Signs all over the park are there to remind you this IS their home. Sssssssooooo (my Snake impression) I think we need an additional location . I've been hanging out the window and got a few ideas on some alternative dog runs.  I've seen nice undeveloped areas that would be a Great spot to have a dog run.  I think we need to lobby the City for another dog run area.   I' love to hear your ideas on possible areas on the west side!   Let me know what You think!  Drop me an email on Your thoughts and ideas about a West Lethbridge dog run.  I'll be happy to pass the comments along!! Speaking of dog runs - I am SO happy to report that since I've been at these dog runs most ALL the other puppies young and old have also been rescued from various situations.  Bark Bark Hooray! Way to go people and puppies!!!  I've met so many puppy friends to run and chase and play and run and run and well you get the idea!

Tis the Season - with the heat these days - please do NOT leave us pets locked inside a hot vehicle.  Cruising the town I see lots of pets getting rides But the excessive heat can sure cause serious issues and remember, us pets just don't do well in high temperatures within a locked vehicle! Leave us at home instead of risk our lives!
